 SCHOOL DETENTION

Just a brief about when I the author used to attend school. It was when coporal punishment was still strong, and afterschool detentions where giving without any hesitation and during your detentions you would usually get some sort of corporal punishment.
I went to an all boys school. The second week of high school I got my first afterschool detention for not completing my homework, the detention was for an hour, i did not know how I was going to approach my parents with his punishment. So I put it off for 3 weeks, and made an exuse every week not to do the detention. Finally the teacher had enough and called my mum and told her that I will be on detention this afternoon for approx 2 hours as I got an hour extra for not doing the detention in the first place.
My mum wasnt to sure what an AfterSchool Detention was either.
During the course of the detention which I was the only one, I had to write lines 500 lines before I go home. During the course of this I was told to stand up, and walk over towards the black board. And put my hands on my head, a cane was bought out from under the desk. Along with a strap, whilst I had my hands on my head, she came over and pulled my ear, and said next time you are given a detention you do it when you are supposed to, for failing that, you will be doing a 2 hour plus detention this afternoon, and im giving you another detention tomorrow afternoon for 2 hours which you will recieve the same punishment, however you will also inform your parents that you will be caned, and straped and whiped. Also once you have finished writing the lines, you will get your parents to sign it, and when you go home, you will write 200 lines, I got caned, straped, and whiped on my detention this afternoon for failing to do my original detention, my parents have seen the marks.
And I was told that I will have to show my parents the marks that I will receive to remind me off what will happen next time and during my time in high school if I fail to do my punishments, and they will sign that as well.
Anyway she let go off my ear and told me to put my palm out, and noticed I was wearing a yellow coloured TSHIRT under my shirt.
She pulled my ear again, and asked me what the school dress code was, and said no tshirts or singlets when you are being punished, as it wont hurt like it should when I whip your back, she made me take it off, and said because of that I will be having a weekend detention. And that I will be writing more lines saying, I must wear the appropriate school uniform, escpecially when I am supposed to be whipped on my back. 200 lines, and parents have to sign that as well.
Anyway she went along and caned my palms, straped my palms, canned my bottom, straped my bottom and whipped my back with some leads.
It hurt, I was shaking, she said sit down and continue writing the lines, because you where wearing your uniform, you will do an extra hour this afternoon, and also tommorrow afternoon, and you will recieve the same caning in the next hour, and the the third hour.
In which I did.
I got home that afternoon, and my mum asked what it was all about, so I had to explain to her the punishments and afterschool detentions and weekend detentions at highschool, and how I got belted and I had to show her the marks, she was like OMG its marked bad, but I guess it serves you right, so I wrote the lines, told her about my other punishments and why, and told her I will be getting the same treatment tommorrow.
She was pleased, and I felt glad that I got it all of my chest and that I had more couragous to face my parents with future detentions.
